LANSING, Mich. — On December 1, 2025, the Gillespie Group officially kicked off a major redevelopment effort in Lansing’s Stadium District, unveiling the Brick Row project — an $8 million plan to renovate a cluster of six century-old buildings along the 600 block of East Michigan Avenue.

Marcus Embry, interim manager at Summit Comics and Games, said the local shop sells comic books, board games and action figures. While big box stores offer holiday deals, he believes small businesses have a competitive advantage.
