LANSING, Mich. (August 6, 2024) – Lansing Community College’s Performing Arts has unveiled its exciting lineup for the 2024-25 theatre season, promising a diverse array of productions that cater to a wide audience. Here’s a breakdown of what’s in store:

This Thursday, August 8 is DLI’s annual Evening of Excellence event, celebrating our volunteers, businesses, partners and neighbors who support our mission to illuminate the path forward for Michigan’s Downtown. Join us at R.E. Olds Transportation Museum from 6 to 8 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
This year’s theme is “Vibrant Visions: Imagining Downtown’s Future Together.” Together, we will honor the past, celebrate the present and look forward to a future filled with endless possibilities!

On Sunday, the last day of the Capital City Comic Con took place at the Lansing Center.
The event brought thousands of people to enjoy and see many comics, collectibles, creators and many big names within the industry like Tim Russ.
Many attendees also dressed the part.
This year’s event featured over 200 exhibitor booths, and co-owner Bryan Harris says it’s the biggest ever.
In an effort to revitalize the historic buildings that occupy Downtown, DLI is opening applications for grants funds that will assist business owners in rehab projects.
