Story By: Lansing State Journal  From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 27, bundle up the family and head downtown for a day of socially-distanced outdoor activities.

Lansing Winterfest — hosted by Downtown Lansing, Inc. in partnership with the Capital Region Community Foundation — will feature live ice sculpture demos and a variety of winter activities spread out from downtown to Old Town.

“Over the last year, we all have had to come up with creative new spins on how we interact and engage with our community during this pandemic,” said Cathleen Edgerly, executive director of Downtown Lansing, Inc. “Lansing Winterfest allows an opportunity to do that, in a safe way, and based on your interests and comfort.”
