Tucked away just south of downtown Lansing, Cherry Hill Park serves as a good spot to get out on a kayak or boat for a trip on the water. As one of the premier access points to the river, the park is a hub for local paddlers.
The park, located at 515 River St., is the site of Sweeny’s Landing. The landing features an accessible kayak launch and boat ramp for an easy transition from the pavement to the current. Whether you are heading to the Red Cedar River or planning a trip through the heart of the city on the Grand River, this is the ideal jumping-off point.
