With his gracious nature and genuine interest in connecting with people, Bobby has become a cornerstone of neighborhood relationships. Whether he’s building partnerships with other businesses on the block, engaging with frequent visitors to the Nelson Gallery, or simply taking time to chat with the mail carrier, Bobby treats everyone with equal attention and good humor.
At the end of August, DLI helped Nelson Gallery host Stone Soup, a community dinner event on Washington Square. Through his neighborhood connections, Bobby rallied the businesses on Washington Square and made short work of collecting donations and sourcing everything needed to make the event a major success.
Whether inside the Nelson Gallery or out and about in Downtown Lansing, Bobby’s got a knack for creating welcoming environments that help make our downtown community a stronger, more vibrant place for everyone who visits. Thank you, Bobby!
