As a volunteer-led organization, we know that they are truly the heart of Downtown Lansing. Volunteers bring vibrancy and a sense of community to our events and initiatives, infusing purpose throughout downtown.
This month’s Volunteers of the Month are a couple who can often be found greeting guests at DLI’s family-friendly events such as the Downtown Egg-Stravaganza, Trick-or-Treat on the Square, and more! They also work behind the scenes to cheer on the Downtown neighborhood, help prepare materials leading up to events, and contribute to other non-profit projects throughout the city. They are a great example that all citizens can get actively involved and work together for positive change in Michigan’s Downtown.
