Bangos & Babe’s Corner are fast-casual restaurants in Downtown Lansing that trace back to 2019, when friends Will and Aharon started a breakfast sandwich food truck called Bangos, operating out of a former Frito-Lay truck. A year later, after finding a space they liked, the concept expanded into Babe’s Corner, centered on hoagies and soft serve. Today, both Bangos and Babe’s Corner have moved together into a space inside Strange Matter Coffee at 331 S Washington Square.
Bangos is built around burgers, chicken wraps, and sandwiches served on bagels and buns, along with loaded potatoes topped with layered ingredients. Vegan options like the cauliflower wrap, Vegan Maple Boy, and Vegan Breakfast Burger add variety.
Babe’s Corner leans into hoagie sandwiches, including build-your-own options. Hoagies come on sub rolls with a choice of meats or plant-based fillings, paired with toppings and sauces that shape each combination. Vegetarian and vegan options are available, giving the menu a range of options for different diets.
