Whether you are running or walking there are some fun options to participate in a race this holiday session.
Silver Bells 5K Race is on November 22, 2025. Open to all ages. It is presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network. Participants can run/walk the 5K marked course in Downtown Lansing. It includes a costume contest with categories of holiday traditional, festive sweater, and holiday movies. Any realized proceeds benefit the Chris and Louise Holman Foundation and Silver Bells in the City
Turkey Trot 5K is on November 27, 2025. The race starts at 9am located in front of Adado Riverfront Park. There is a virtual option to participate, as well. Proceeds for the race support High School and Middle School Cross Country and Track programs through the Michigan Running Foundation.
In December, you can participate in the Candy Cane Course 5K/12K on December 20th at Burchard Park. It is a fun Christmas-themed event that is good for the whole family. Also, PlayMakers Holiday Classic is on December 24th. The race starts and ends at the Lansing Shuffle.
