Summit Comics & Games in Downtown Lansing remains a vibrant hub for tabletop, card, and role-playing game enthusiasts of all ages. With something happening nearly every day of the week, Summit offers a welcoming space for both casual and competitive play. Weekly events include Riftbound Nexus Nights on Mondays, Dice Throne free play on Tuesdays, Dungeons & Dragons open play on Wednesdays, and Yu-Gi-Oh! weekly play on Fridays. Saturdays are packed with Heroclix in the morning and, on the third Saturday of each month, the Lansing Board Gaming Group from 2–9 p.m. Summit also hosts a Graphic Novel Book Club on the third Tuesday of each month, giving readers a chance to connect over shared stories in a relaxed, community-focused environment.
Meanwhile, the Downtown Lansing Capital Area District Library (CADL) branch has a full lineup of creative and educational programs throughout February. Families can enjoy weekly Take & Make crafts for kids, along with special events like Family Paint Night on February 4, Acrylic Painting: Winter Landscape on February 11, and Drop-In STEAM on February 12. Teens and adults can join the Lansing Book Club on February 17 or dive into adventure during Dungeons & Dragons night on February 19. Rounding out the month, the Black History 101 Mobile Museum will be on site on February 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering an engaging and educational experience for all ages.
Storytime programs remain a staple at the library, with Baby Storytime every Tuesday, Toddler Storytime every Wednesday, and Family Storytime every Thursday, all at 10:30 a.m. Early Childhood Music with Teacher Liz will take place on February 9 at 10:30 a.m. for children ages five and under.
