This summer, the community is invited to experience the excitement of Downtown After 5, a new initiative bringing shopping, dining, live music, and local entertainment together in the heart of downtown.
Taking place on the third Thursday of each month from June through August, Downtown After 5 offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy warm summer evenings while supporting local businesses.
From 5 to 7 p.m., downtown streets will come alive as shops stay open later, restaurant patios fill with guests, and storefronts buzz with activity.
Visitors can spend the evening strolling through downtown, discovering unique local businesses, enjoying dinner or drinks with friends, taking advantage of the social district, and absorbing the vibrant atmosphere that makes summer nights downtown so special. Whether you’re looking for a casual night out, live entertainment, or a chance to connect with the community, Downtown After 5 has something for everyone.
Free live music performances will also add to the experience, with entertainment happening at Nelson Gallery and the Lansing Center Riverfront Plaza throughout the evening.
