The Second Annual Big Red Ball took place at the Knapp’s Center in Downtown Lansing on Washington Square. Guests arrived in sparkling heels, bold coats, and festive attire and were greeted warmly at the door, setting the tone for a night full of celebration.
Inside the venue, the holiday spirit was everywhere. Red, green, and white filled the space. White Christmas trees were lined up by the dance floor, creating a festive backdrop, while other trees in deeper colors were decorated with bright red ornaments. Red and white balloon arches added a playful touch, and red lighting gave everything a warm, festive glow. The multi-level layout made it possible to see the celebration unfolding on different floors, giving the event a lively and dynamic atmosphere.
The Big Red Ball was more than just a party. While the evening delivered a night full of holiday cheer, great food, dancing, and unforgettable moments that left everyone smiling and already looking forward to next year – it was also a celebration with purpose – raising nearly $50,000 in funds for Michigan’s Downtown as community members came together with a shared mission of cultivating a thriving and inclusive district that will lead the way forward for our state.
