Juneteenth Flag Raising at the Lansing City Hall
The Lansing Juneteenth Flag Raising will take place at the Lansing City Hall Plaza (124 W. Michigan Ave.) on June 19 at 11:00 a.m.
The ceremonial hoisting is hosted by Mayor Andy Schor and the Lansing Juneteenth Committee to honor Freedom Day and commemorate the end of slavery.
The mission of the Lansing Juneteenth Committee is to commemorate the ending of slavery in the United States by celebrating the joys of liberty, educating the community about our heritage, and by promoting positive cultural interaction.
