DLI Design & Public Spaces Committee

Got an eye for design or city planning? We could use your vision! Members of our Design & Public Spaces Committee support every corner of Downtown Lansing’s visual impact through design, activation, and beautification of public spaces.

On this committee, you’ll help with:

• Design initiatives, like our streetscape redesign project
• Activation projects, like our Reutter Park project, Artery Alley project, and walking tours
• Beautification initiatives, like Adopt-A-Spot, planting days, and art installations
• Grant approvals for our Sidewalk Cafe Furniture Grant Program and Sign Grant Program

The Design & Public Spaces Committee meets on the last Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. at the Downtown Lansing Inc. office (215 S. Washington Square).
