After starting their specialty floral shop during the pandemic, Sparrow Bloom has now found its permanent home in downtown Lansing. The floral company owned by Kait Bibb and Becca Barnell began as a door-to-door floral design and delivery operation. It has now grown into a full-fledged floral business with regular subscriptions, arrangements for weddings and workshops.
Sparrow Bloom opened its first storefront last July in front of Lansing Brewing Company while its permanent location was renovated. The new location has larger retail space, a bigger workspace to prepare orders and a place to host workshops. The new shop is located at 505 E. Shiawassee St., and is open Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
