Wine About Winter Social Hours Returns

Downtown Lansing Inc. has announced the return of Wine About Winter, weekly winter-themed social hours that allow residents to lift a glass, network and more.

Greater Lansing residents are invited to attend every Thursday night in January and February for the rotating social as a way to support local breweries and distilleries during the winter months. It’s also a great opportunity to network, meet up with co-workers and friends.

Each week features a different downtown Lansing location, with attendees meeting up anytime between 4:30-6:30 p.m. The first Wine About Winter kicks off Thursday, Jan. 5, at MichiGrain Distillery.

The complete schedule includes:

“Downtown Lansing is home to so many wonderful and unique distilleries, breweries, as well as beloved and new restaurants,” said Downtown Lansing Inc. Executive Director Cathleen Edgerly. “We invite anyone 21-plus to come out and toast to the new year, while reconnecting after the frenzy of the holidays. Not only are Wine About Winters informal and fun, but they’re also a great way to help support these local businesses through the cold and slower winter months. The best way to keep local businesses as part of our community is to show up and show them that we are here for them, the same way they’ve been here for us as part of the Capital City.” https://517mag.com/lifestyle/digital/wine-about-winter-social-hours-returns/?fbclid=IwAR3Cc7dRoPqz4HP2FDpfppuJilHOLXDRCfUw5pPpvNX7lM5_4ARNVLjAFEM
