Adopt a River was started by BWL in 1994 to restore pride in one of our area’s great natural resources. The event encourages businesses, unions, schools and civic groups to adopt sections of the Grand and Red Cedar rivers and to keep their banks and nearby areas clean and free from litter. All volunteers will receive free admission to Impression 5 Science Center after the event. Help us keep our local rivers and adjacent spaces beautiful!
Schedule:
– River Clean-up from 8:30am – 11am

Individuals or groups that register by April 21 will be entered into a raffle to win a free suite for up to 20 people, to the Lansing Lugnuts home game on June 3 thanks to the Lansing Board of Water & Light!
